Agreement
By accessing or using Cito API, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements.
Modifications
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or dashboard notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
API Usage
Rate Limits
Your API usage is subject to rate limits based on your subscription tier: Free (50/month), Basic (50,000/month), Pro (250,000/month), Business (2,000,000/month). Exceeding limits may result in throttling.
Permitted Use
You may use the API to build applications, services, and integrations. You may display data obtained from our API in your applications with proper attribution.
Prohibited Use
You may not: resell or redistribute API access, attempt to circumvent rate limits, use the API to build a competing service, or scrape data beyond normal API usage patterns.
Account Responsibilities
Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and API keys. Do not share API keys publicly or commit them to version control. Rotate keys immediately if compromised.
Accurate Information
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update your information as needed.
Account Activity
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, whether authorized or not. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
Payment Terms
Billing
Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. Prices are in USD unless otherwise specified. You authorize us to charge your payment method for recurring fees.
Renewals
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. You can cancel anytime from your dashboard or by contacting support.
Refunds
We offer a 14-day refund for new subscriptions if you're not satisfied. After 14 days, refunds are provided at our discretion. Contact support@citoapi.com for refund requests.
Intellectual Property
Our IP
The Service, including its code, design, and documentation, is owned by Cito API and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or reverse engineer the Service.
Your IP
You retain ownership of applications and services you build using our API. We claim no ownership over your code or the products you create.
Data Ownership
Esports data provided through the API is sourced from public sources and game publishers. You may not claim exclusive ownership of this data.
Data & Privacy
Data Collection
We collect usage data to improve the Service and for billing purposes. See our Privacy Policy for details on what we collect and how we use it.
Data Accuracy
We strive for accuracy but do not guarantee that all data is complete, current, or error-free. Esports data can change rapidly and historical data may have gaps.
Your Obligations
If you collect personal data through your use of our API, you are responsible for complying with applicable data protection laws including GDPR and CCPA.
Disclaimers
As-Is Service
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or fitness for any particular purpose.
Third-Party Data
Some data relies on third-party sources including game publishers. We are not responsible for delays, inaccuracies, or outages in source data.
No Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
Termination
By You
You may cancel your subscription and close your account at any time. Upon cancellation, your access will continue until the end of your billing period.
By Us
We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms, non-payment, or any reason with notice. We may terminate immediately for serious violations.
Effect of Termination
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We may delete your account data after 30 days. Some provisions survive termination.
